			<description><![CDATA[Mayor Shirley Franklin along with several other individuals, held a press conference urging Govenor Sonny Perdue to veto HB 89. Mayor Franklin makes a point of listing cities where she alleges that gun control has had favorable results -- Washington D.C. was noticeably absent from the list. To summarize the press conference, it was roughly 30 minutes of fear mongering that closed with this question to Atlanta PD Assistant Chief Dryer: of the individuals involved in shootings, how many of those were permit holders. While Chief Dreher could not name an exact number, he did respond by saying, "very few".]]></description>
